For those of you who don’t know, the show is about a teenage girl named Veronica Mars (played by Kristen Bell) who solves mysteries in her spare time. Murder, rape, theft, kidnapping, you name it. The show is heavily influenced by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” with an independent and kick-ass female lead, pop-culture references, witty dialogue, and mystery-of-the-week storylines (it even guest-starred “Buffy” alums Charisma Carpenter and Alyson Hannigan, and “Buffy” creator Joss Whedon).
Unfortunately, it got canceled after three seasons. I’m hoping maybe if more people start watching it and buying the DVD’s, they’ll realize the size of the fanbase and go through with making the movie.
I suggest watching this or this if you’re interested in the show. :)
